Authorize.Net CIM: Entrust to DigiCert SSL Certificate Migration

You may receive a notice from Authorize.Net on the following:

Authorize.net is updating the SSL/TLS certificates used for secure communication with our systems. This change affects both browser-based and server-to-server interactions.

Who is being affected: Merchants who utilize Authorize.net APIs and endpoint URLs in their websites or applications will need to make updates. They will need to integrate and use the newly-issued Root and Intermediate (CA) SSL certificates from DigiCert. This should be done before the scheduled revocation dates to avoid disruptions.

What you need to do: You must integrate and use the newly-issued Root and Intermediate (CA) SSL certificates from DigiCert by October 24 to avoid any disruptions.

This has no impact or relation to your own sites SSL certificate, but a valid SSL (HTTPS) connection is required to use our extension.

While our Magento 1 and Magento 2 extensions make use of the endpoints this affects, there will be no impact so long as your server has up to date trust stores for the latest DigiCert Root and Intermediate SSL certificates. You can confirm if this is the case by contacting your host to review the servers trust stores.

If your server is not up to date our extensions have an included PEM file (authorizenet-cert.pem) that is used as a fallback. In the event your server configuration must rely on this, the file does not include the latest certificates and you will need to update to 5.1.1 (Magento 2) or 2.3.7 (Magento 1) or newer to obtain the most up to date PEM file.
